Tri-Cities CROP Walk Recruiters |
The Tri-Cities CROP Walk relies on recruiters at churches and other organizations to encourage individuals to participate in the walk. We thank all of our recruiters in 2006 who helped recruit 373 walkers from 22 churches and organizations! The Tri-Cities CROP Walk committee hopes to increase the number of churches and organizations participating in 2007.
The recruiter rally for the 2007 walk will be held at the end of August (date to be announced). The recruiter rally provides the opportunity to learn more about the purpose of the walk, to learn something about the local organizations being supported, and to learn about the responsibilities of being a recruiter. At the rally, recruiters pick up the supplies they need to promote the walk. We encourage all recruiters to attend. A good time is enjoyed by all attending. Below is a photo of the recruiters who attended the 2006 rally.

Walk day is October 21, 2007, a Sunday. The walk will follow the same route as prior years using the Batavia Methodist Church as the start/finish point and walking 5 kilometers (3 miles) on the Fox River Trail to Fabyan Forest Preserve and back.
With the hard work of our recruiters, we hope to make the 2007 walk the most successful yet in our history. We especially want to do this since the Tri-Cities CROP Walk is celebrating its 20th anniversary!
